Hogle Zoo!

Can you guess what kind of monkey Logan resembles? That's right, he looks like a Baboon. 

The twins thought the zoo was boring and decided to take a nap. I got my workout in for the day pushing the bus (double stroller) around. Spencer couldn't push the stroller because he just had his appendix removed. We were glad there were clouds out that day so it wasn't too hot.

If you can't tell, Riley is a little bit uncomfortable in this picture. Spencer thought it would be cool to place her between the two horns of the rhino.  Not a good idea.  So, I told Spencer to sit between the two horns and see how it feels. So Spencer tried... OUCH!! Lesson learned. Grandma Rozann, Nicholas and Paul came with us and we all had a lot of fun. We had a squirt bottle filled with cold water so we could mist the kids. Spencer, Nicholas and Paul thought it would be fun to squirt the monkeys in one exhibit. Did anyone tell the boys that monkeys don't like water? The monkeys all ran to the other side of their cage and glared at them.  Spencer kept saying to one monkey, "Come here little buddy!" Paul thought it was the funniest thing ever. BOYS!

Riley started to get tired so Grandma Rozann carried her on her shoulders most of the way. Thanks Grandma Rozann, your the greatest.

Can You Guess Who's Who?

Every now and then we have people comment on the twins and then soon after they look at Logan and Riley and ask if they are twins as well. I might just start saying yes they are. They are only 21 months apart. People probably think they are twins because sometimes Riley acts older than she really is and Logan acts like a two year old. It could go either way. Can you guess who's who? Colbie resembles Riley when she was a baby and Ethan resembles Logan when he was a baby.  I sometimes get them mixed up. Too many kids!!!!  

Hot Dogs!!

Here is Logan and Riley smiling for the picture with their mouths full of hot dogs. YUMMY! This picture was taken at Hood Park in Washington State. This is one of our favorite parks to go to. We like to cook hamburgers and hot dogs on their charcoal grills, but mostly we enjoy going to the park to relax.

Four Kids Under Four...

Logan thought it would be fun to go outside and take pictures.  

It was too bright outside for the kids to keep their eyes open. Logan tried his hardest to keep his eyes open, but he couldn't. Riley didn't care so much for pictures so she curled up into a ball and started sucking her thumb. The twins liked being outside in the warm air. They fell right to sleep.

This year we spent the fourth of July in Richfield Utah. After the parade and going to the park all of the cousins went to Aunt Ashley's house and played in the water. All the cousins had a lot of fun. Riley refused to play in the cold water. So she sat comfortably from the side watching everyone else.

The twins were blessed on May 31st, 2009.We thought it would be a good idea if we did it in Richfield since we got married in Morgan. Spencer was nervous because not only did he have to bless one baby he had to bless two. He did a great job. The twins slept the whole time.  Thank goodness!

Spencer got his Appendix removed on June 18th. He thought it would be cool to take a picture of the scar so everyone could see how big it was. The incision was only suppose to be two inches long. We later found out that the surgeon was not the best doctor. GREAT!! So far Spencer has not had any complications.

One morning Spencer went in to check on Riley and here is what he found. This is how she prefers to sleep. She likes to sleep on the bed and the chair. But she could not decide which

one to sleep on. So she thought she could sleep on both.

Just after the twins were born Grandma Cortney got to bring home her hospital gowns for Logan to play with. He didn't like the idea of pretending to be a doctor which was surprising. Every time he goes to the doctor he's the one calling out all the shots and telling the doctor what to check for.
