We hatched 17 eggs in the spring for a home school project and only 11 survived due to a neighbor dog killing 6 plus 4 of our previous chickens we raised at two weeks old. We are only allowed to keep 6 hens and no roosters in the city limits. We gave 8 chickens to the Harvey family. This has been a great experience for our family!
